ANNUAL COMMUNICATION UPDATE
We are all looking forward to the 233rd Annual Communication of the Grand Lodge of New Jersey, and the opportunity to share quality in-person time with each other. New Jersey still has Local, State, and Federal guidelines which we must remember and follow for the well being of all members that are attending. There are over 400 members that have registered to attend in person. The registration to attend ended this past Friday. There are also over 700 voting members that registered to vote electronically between Sunday at 9:00 AM to Monday at 11:00 AM.
There are certain procedures that must be followed for those members attending the Annual Communication. There will be a health check tent over the drive way to Fellowship Hall. Every occupant in the car will have their temperature checked with a Thermal Scanner. If anyone in the car fails the test, the car will be requested to turn around and leave with all the occupants. There can be no exception to this policy. We recommend that you take your temperature prior to coming to Burlington.
All registered members will proceed to the front door of Fellowship Hall to check in. The first 250 registered members will receive a wrist band and directed to take a seat in Fellowship Hall. All other registered attendees will be directed to the large tent located along side Fellowship Hall. All first-time members of the 2020 incoming staff should report direct y to the tent to receive a wrist band and will remain in the tent during the Annual Communication. The tent is heated and will have the Communication from Fellowship Hall streamed into the tent with large monitors for viewing. A light breakfast will be available in the tent for all registered attendees..
We recommend that you stop there first after you park your car. The Annual Communication will commence at 8:30 AM at which time all doors will be closed. Please allow enough time for the temperature check, breakfast, registration, and to be at your seat prior to 8:30 AM.
If you are not registered to attend or to vote online there will be three laptops available for voting in the Grand Lodge room under the supervision of the Balloting and Registration Committee.
Access to the Grand Lodge room is through the side door of Fellowship Hall near the back of the building facing the parking lot.
Should you have any questions prior or during the Annual I can be reached at 609-358-3557
