The idea for the 2007 Grand Lodge Ladies’ Project came about as a result of my first visit to this magnificent building over 3 years ago. Seeing that initial idea move forward during the past year has truly been encouraging and rewarding. Due to the generosity and caring of New Jersey’s Freemasons, their families and friends who have joined with us in this work, the project has raised, to date, approximately $75,000 dollars toward the preservation and restoration of this venerable Historic Trenton Masonic Temple.
There remains much work to do ... and additional funds to raise during the remaining two months of this year’s Ladies’ Project. However, to honor the distinguished contributors who have donated to date, we are unveiling a commemorative plaque which will be permanently placed in the foyer of the Temple at this year’s Project’s end. The names of the contributors, within the various levels of giving, are shown in the order in which their donations were made. It is with sincere gratitude and many thanks to all the special people who have recognized the importance of this work, and who have so generously become a part of the drive toward the Historic Trenton Masonic Temple’s preservation.
The final plaque is yet to be made. There are additional names to be included - many donors contributed after this replica was prepared. And we trust that there will be many more names to place here - as there are many who have planned, but have not yet made contributions toward the Temple’s Preservation & Restoration Program. Donations for inclusion on the finished plaque, honoring all contributors during this year’s Ladies Program, can be made between now and this year’s Annual Communication in April – right up to the opening of the Grand Lodge Banquet on April 17th ...

The final plaque will then be created, bearing the names of all the distinguished contributors to this program during its inaugural year.
Again, my heartfelt thanks to the ladies, volunteers, workers and contributors who have given life to this project - we all look forward to many years’ enjoyment of this marvelous part of New Jersey Freemasonry’s past well into the future. ...God Bless you all!
