Freemasonry is the oldest, largest, and most widely known fraternal organization in the world. It is comprised of men who seek to become better through their association with one another and their families.

Freemasonry's relationship with the Boy Scouts started with a Freemason named Daniel Carter Beard.  The Scouter of the Year award honors one Mason who has dedicated his life to both Fraternities. The Daniel Carter Beard Award is another honor that is to be bestowed to only eight Master Masons a year for their work in Scouting.

The idea for the 2007 Grand Lodge Ladies’ Project came about as a result of my first visit to this magnificent building over 3 years ago.  Seeing that initial idea move forward during the past year has truly been encouraging and rewarding.  Due to the generosity and caring of New Jersey’s Freemasons, their families and friends who have joined with us in this work...
